Hope Health Systems provides preventative and mental health services to children, adolescents and adults in our main center located in Woodlawn.  We are currently recruiting licensed therapists (LGSW, LGPC, LGMFT, LCSW-C, LCMFT and LCPC) for part-time and full time positions to provide individual, family and group therapy, parenting classes, as well as family support and community outreach services in the main clinic. Our clinic hours are as follows: Monday – Thursdays 10:00am – 8:00pm, Fridays 10:00am-4:00pm and Saturdays by Appointments only.

  • General Clinical Job Description:

    • Complete Bio-psychosocial Assessments on youth
    • Provide Provisional Diagnosis
    • Provide individual, family and group counseling
    • Develop treatment plans, monitor treatment progress, and follow-up at disposition
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with COMAR regulations
    • Respond to crisis, provide interventions and support to clients and families
    • Contact parents/caregivers and other essential individuals on a monthly basis for status updates and support
    • Work on an interdisciplinary team
    • Advocate client needs within community settings
    • Attend all scheduled meetings, trainings, and chart audits with Hope Health Systems, Inc.
    • Other duties as assigned by clinical and administrative staff
  • School-Based Division

    Hope Health Systems provides preventative and mental health services to children and adolescents in the Baltimore City/County Elementary and Middle Schools and including Baltimore City Head Starts (Serving children 3-5 years of age).  We are currently recruiting licensed therapists (LGSW, LGPC, LGMFT, LCSW-C, LCMFT and LCPC) to provide individual, family and group therapy, as well as family support and community outreach services in the Expanded School Based Division; as well as Advanced Licensed clinicians for Team Lead Positions in the Expanded School Based.

     

    Therapists assigned to the School Based Division

    General Clinical Job Description:

    • Attend Monthly Administrative meeting with Hope Health Administrative Staff
    • Provide status reporting of team activities against clinic plan or school-based schedule

  • Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center Division

    Hope Health Systems provides mental health and substance abuse services to detained youth at  Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center (BCJJC).  We are currently recruiting licensed therapists (LGSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, and LCPC) to provide individual and group therapy, as well as family support and community outreach services for a caseload of  males aged 12 – 21.

    General Clinical Job Description:

    • Complete Bio-psychosocial Assessments on youth
    • Create a safe and comfortable environment for all detainees
    • Provide individual and group counseling to caseload of youth
    • Respond to emergency on-site and after hour calls
    • Assess youth level of safety while on suicide watch
    • Process with youth while in seclusion
    • Contact parents/caregivers and other essential individuals on a monthly basis for status updates and support
    • Participate in monthly Treatment Service Plan meetings for all youth on caseload
    • Complete documentation within 24 hours of service delivery
    • Work on an interdisciplinary team
    • Advocate client needs
    • Participate in court proceedings for identified youth
    • Attend all scheduled meetings, trainings, and chart audits with Hope Health Systems, Inc., as well as with DJS
    • Provide in-service trainings to colleagues of other disciplines

  • Board Certified Psychiatrist

    Hope Health Systems provides preventative and mental health services to children and adolescents in the Baltimore County and City Elementary and Middle Schools and including Baltimore City Head Starts (Serving children 3-5 years of age).  We are currently recruiting a full time Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to Provide medical/psychiatric care and treatment to outpatient clients; prescribe medications; and direct psychiatric treatment; as well as provide family support and community outreach services in the Expanded School Based Division.

     

    Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   Diagnosis and clinical treatment of clients.

     

     

    Special Qualifications:

    Possession of a license to practice Medicine in the State of Maryland or the ability to obtain the license prior to appointment, plus a minimum of 3 years in an approved residency in Psychiatry.

     

     

    General Clinical Job Description: The ideal candidate will be an innovative and energetic board certified psychiatrist. Responsibilities and Duties will include, but not limited to psychiatric screening/evaluation, psychiatric medication management, counseling/education and coordination of client’s overall mental health care, coordination of medical care with the patients’ Primary Care Provider, referral of patients, operation of quality assurance and utilization programs including peer reviews, open and close medical record reviews and utilization reviews; completes required performance measures. Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

     

    Skills Required:
    Candidates must be U.S. citizens and be proficient in spoken and written English. Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist and must possess/maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice in the State of Maryland.

    You will need to successfully complete a background security investigation before you can be appointed into this position.

    Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience.

  • Family Service Coordinators (FSC)

    Family Service Coordinators (FSC): FSCs work in a "mentoring" capacity to families receiving services at the clinic. FSC will be responsible for carrying out treatment goals set by the Rehab Specialist and Coordinator, and agreed upon by the consumer through the use of interventions designed to facilitate and foster functional improvement in skills and community living. The goal of the service is to use the community environment, to teach and promote the development of community living skills and positive social interactions while managing and coping with their mental illness.

     

    Responsibilities and Expectations - 1. (4) contacts per each consumer per month 2. Progress notes for each encounter with client that document: behavior, intervention, response to intervention and plan. 3. Monthly Summary Reports 4. Regular collaboration with treatment team 5. Participation in ongoing trainings. 6. Full time or Part time commitment

    Experience: Two years of experience working with children and adolescents

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Analysis, and/or other mental health discipline.
