Hope Health Systems provides preventative and mental health services to children, adolescents and adults in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. We are currently recruiting clinical staff including psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical supervisors, registered nurses and psychiatric nurse practitioners and licensed therapists (LGSW, LGPC, LGMFT, LCSW-C, LCMFT and LCPC) for part-time and full time positions.

  • Clinical Supervisors >>

    Master’s degree in Social Work or other mental health discipline. Must be licensed as LCSW-C, LCPC or LCMFT in Maryland for at least 18 months

    • Provide clinical supervision and training of new clinical staff to ensure instruction for basic skills, work habits and work processes are attained
    • Guide, direct, monitor and evaluate social work/therapeutic services provided to ensure consistency, high quality and compliance with all government mandates
    • Review treatment plans, monitor treatment progress and follow-up at disposition.
    • Assure that clinicians maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with COMAR regulations.
    • Complete documentation relevant to clinical supervision activities.
    • Complies with and ensures adherence to all documentation standards.
    • Complies with data collection entry, and reporting requirements
    • Provides clinical educational and/or liaison services to community centers as needed

  • Therapists for Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center Division >>

    Hope Health Systems provides mental health and substance abuse services to detained youth at Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center (BCJJC). We are currently recruiting licensed therapists (LGSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, and LCPC) to provide individual and group therapy, as well as family support and community outreach services for a caseload of males aged 12 – 21.

    General Clinical Job Description:

    • Provide individual and group counseling to caseload of youth
    • Respond to emergency on-site and after hour calls
    • Assess youth level of safety while on suicide watch

    Position includes Mental Health Therapists with the following licensures: LASW, LGSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LGMFT, LCMFT, Psychology Associates, LCADC, CSCAD, CACAD

    • Provide counseling and treatment, mental health evaluations/assessments, problem identification, crisis interventions, individual, group, and/or family therapy to assigned clients.

    Hope Health Systems provides preventative and mental health services to children and adolescents in the Baltimore County and City Elementary and Middle Schools and including Baltimore City Head Starts (Serving children 3-5 years of age). We are currently recruiting a full time Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to Provide medical/psychiatric care and treatment to outpatient clients; prescribe medications; and direct psychiatric treatment; as well as provide family support and community outreach services in the Expanded School Based Division.

    Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Diagnosis and clinical treatment of clients.

    Special Qualifications: Possession of a license to practice Medicine in the State of Maryland or the ability to obtain the license prior to appointment, plus a minimum of 3 years in an approved residency in Psychiatry.

    General Clinical Job Description:

    The ideal candidate will be an innovative and energetic board certified psychiatrist. Responsibilities and Duties will include, but not limited to psychiatric screening/evaluation, psychiatric medication management, counseling/education and coordination of client’s overall mental health care, coordination of medical care with the patients’ Primary Care Provider, referral of patients, operation of quality assurance and utilization programs including peer reviews, open and close medical record reviews and utilization reviews; completes required performance measures. Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

    Skills Required: Candidates must be U.S. citizens and be proficient in spoken and written English. Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist and must possess/maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice in the State of Maryland.

    You will need to successfully complete a background security investigation before you can be appointed into this position.

  • Family Service Coordinators (FSC) >>

    Family Service Coordinators (FSC): FSCs work in a “mentoring” capacity to families receiving services at the clinic. FSC will be responsible for carrying out treatment goals set by the Rehab Specialist and Coordinator, and agreed upon by the consumer through the use of interventions designed to facilitate and foster functional improvement in skills and community living. The goal of the service is to use the community environment, to teach and promote the development of community living skills and positive social interactions while managing and coping with their mental illness.

    Responsibilities and Expectations – 1. (4) contacts per each consumer per month 2. Progress notes for each encounter with client that document: behavior, intervention, response to intervention and plan. 3. Monthly Summary Reports 4. Regular collaboration with treatment team 5. Participation in ongoing trainings. 6. Full time or Part time commitment

    Experience: Two years of experience working with children and adolescents

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Analysis, and/or other mental health discipline.
